Scott’s Cup – A Once‑a‑Year Event

Join us on Saturday 18th April for Scott’s Cup, held as part of our Khanacross hosted by the Whitsunday Sporting Car Club — a day that means so much more than just motorsport.

This annual event is held in memory of Scott, a true car lover from a young age. From collecting bottles and delivering papers to fuel his passion, to rebuilding his beloved HK Ute, Scott lived and breathed cars. His yard was always full of parts, projects, and determination.

Scott was someone who worked hard, helped others, and shared his love of cars with everyone around him — especially the next generation.

Scott’s Cup is our way of remembering him with love, while bringing the community together to enjoy the sport he cherished.

We extend our thanks to his family, Lesley and Clive “Porky” Blazely, for their generosity and for allowing us to continue honouring Scott in this special way.

Come along and be part of a respectful day that celebrates community, shared passion, and the memories of those who are no longer with us.

COST FOR SATURDAY

• $50.00 Per Adult
• $35.00 Per Junior (12 Years – 17 years)

PAYMENT FOR RACING
You can pay for event by either bringing cash on the day, via BSB and Account, or via the listed events via the Motorsports website.

SATURDAY TIMINGS
Scrutineering: 8:00 AM
Administration: 8:00 AM
Event Start: 9:00 AM

SPECTATORS
It’s free for spectators to watch the weekend event, camp and join in on the festivities!

COME AND TRY

• Members of the public are welcome to come and try racing using a designated track vehicle.
• An experienced member of the WSCC team teaches new drivers the ropes!

FACILITIES

• Canteen available – CASH only or canteen credit (pay via direct debit)
• Free camping from Friday night
• Toilets and hot showers available
